AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad (AXA) has announced its strategic partnership with Petronas Dagangan Berhad (Malaysia’s leading retailer and marketer of downstream petroleum products) to provide Mesra Card members with exclusive domestic travel protection under AXA Jom Lokal Travel plan.
Launched in November 2021, AXA Jom Lokal Travel plan is the only travel insurance product in the market that is tailored specially for domestic travels, road trips or staycations.
This tie-up will allow Mesra card members to redeem AXA Jom Lokal Travel plan starts from 994 Mesra points under ‘Mesra Rewards’ on Setel’s website/ mobile application. The points can be accumulated with a minimum spend of RM8.00 at any Petronas station nationwide. Upon redemption, Mesra Card members will enjoy great coverages when they travel locally:
accidental death & permanent disablement up to RM 50,000 per person
medical bills coverage due to food poisoning
cancellation of trip (includes trip cancellation due to pandemic)
protection of e-wallet/digital wallet in an event of snatch theft/robbery at the destination location
loss of mobile phone due to snatch theft or robbery up to RM 500
