JobStreet Aims for Higher Polytechnic Student Employment

JobStreet.com signed the certification of collaboration with the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education (DPCCE) for its Graduate Employability Program, marking another milestone in its effort to improve graduate employability in Malaysia. This program is aimed at empowering students to build bridges for their future careers while preparing workforce-ready graduates from polytechnic institutions.

Among the initiatives supported by JobStreet.com for students of these institutions are career workshops, career counselling, resume clinics and employer networking events designed to groom and develop the skills needed for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the collaboration will see the sharing of information between JobStreet.com and the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education (DPCCE) in the areas of graduate employability trends, job market trends and more.

A deep dive by JobStreet.com into employment data revealed that polytechnic graduates are largely employed in top industries such as:
