Home-grown software developer Gain Secure has recently updated its leading event management mobile app Konfx with new features that include instant name tag label printing as well as push notifications. The popular app has also made increased headway into significant events such as Selangor International Business Summit 2018 and CloudSec Singapore 2018.
Building on the developer’s promise to ensure the app will be kept updated with relevant updates, the leading event management application can now facilitate QR Code scans, This will correspond to delegate databases to allow for instant name tag label printing at event venues.
The features helps event managers overcome time-old issues delegates have had of forgotten, misprinted, or even missing name tags. All conference staff need to do is scan the delegate’s QR code and then have labels printed out on the spot. Should a name not be in the database for any reason, all the delegate must do is proceed to a support counter for an instant registration and printout.
Even more important in the inclusion for push notifications through the app. With this, conference managers are able to make on-the-fly updates without major inconveniences. Delegates can be informed of any changes immediately while conference manages can make allowances for new developments on the ground.
It also allows for greater utility of the app, such as supporting sponsorship messages to be pushed out. The features opens up a new dimension in event management, possibly allowing the dynamic inclusion of advertising into a highly targeted crowd.
Gain Secure most recently saw its updated app featured at the Selangor International Business Summit 2018. The event was held from 6th to 16th of September at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). Konfx was successfully deployed to help manage the event which was projected to record transactions of over RM250 million in value.
Other events utilizing Konfx include CloudSec Singapore 2018 as well as a recent Malaysia Ministry of Education event, both held in August this year.
