Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew participated in the Huawei – KSI Digital Leadership Webinar held virtually on 3rd August 2021 as one of the four speakers and shared his insights and visions with several hundred industry incumbents.

In the agricultural sector, Tan Sri Lee added that projects like vertical farming can make use of blockchain technology to enable smart agriculture and tackle common problems in the supply chains such as food traceability, to produce better quality and safer food which can then provide added values to the farmers.
“If there is a need, GHIB will also consider setting up a marketing center in Cameron Highland, to integrate blockchain with agriculture, and assist the farmers to apply blockchain technologies in their farms”, he added.
